There is a reason there have been so few men’s teams started even while women (including my worlddo minating Northwestern Wildcats) have started up – Title IX. With football skewing men’s participation numbers, it is very difficult to remain in Title IX compliance and still a sport that requires the numbers that lacrosse does.”
